Author - PRAKASH K. NIGAM

Prakash Kumar Nigam was born in Bhainsdehi, M.P., India on October 10, 1923. In 1948, he got the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, U.S.A. He worked in the U.S., India and Soviet Union with some of the biggest manufacturing, power utility, design and consulting firms as electrical engineer from 1948 to 1981. He was Chief Electrical Engineer in Heavy Engineering Corporation in Ranchi, India. Alarmed at the development of atom bomb in 1945, he has been researching and writing this book for last twenty-five years. Since 1994, he has written many articles for newspapers on nuclear weapons, electricity and geo-political subjects.
"Reflections on the History of World in Twentieth Century" is unique, as it gives an objective and truthful account of world history in twentieth century. It is investigative type and exposes false account of world history of twentieth century propagated by interested parties to hide their guilt, specially by neo imperialists. "Reflections on the History of World in Twentieth Century" destroys many myths created by foreign imperialists, which are not known generally. As an example, the reader will find the truth about how the British were forced out from India in 1947 (b) how and why the British forced partition on India (c) why the truth has been hidden from the public so far. The author points out why there is danger of suicide by human race due to nuclear weapons in present day wars and shows how the disease of war among men can be permanently eliminated. The author asserts that politicians are incapable of achieving this noble aim and the public of entire world has to take up the question seriously and solve the problem. The book shows that Pakistan's Islamic bomb was a hoax of U.S. - Pakistan combine for ulterior motives. It further shows how U.S. - neo-imperialism, in the quest of world hegemony, is affecting the world history, by creation of wars and regime change.
It is extremely important, to prevent bloodshed in Indian subcontinent, for Indians to know how the British were forced out from India; why the British wanted to partition India and how they achieved their aim. So far the truth has been hidden from Indians and the world. It is high time that Indians know the truth about the end of British raj and partition. Knowledge of truth is also necessary to protect India's independence and unity. Book's treatment of the end of British raj and partition is unique and based on geo-politics. The book "Reflections on the History of World in Twentieth Century" is very suited to people of all nations who have to understand that human civilization is facing serious threat of suicide due to the development of nuclear weapons, and how to avoid this catastrophe.
